 On 17 June 2026, Kingsway informed the Planning Inspectorate that it was withdrawing its application.

However, Kingsway suggest that they might resubmit.

August 2026 news: Kingsway expected back soon

 Although Kingsway withdrew their planning application in July, the company has since said that it plans to change and resubmit its application as soon as possible. We’ve had a brief pause, but the campaign is far from over.

We expect a new application sooner rather than later, and will keep you updated on any announcement from Kingsway. We all need to be ready for the next stage. If the revised application is accepted by the Planning Inspectorate, there will be another opportunity for local people to send comments and concerns directly as part of the formal process.
